Youth and UNESCO
UNESCO’s youth policy is based on the conviction that young people are key partners in the fulfilment of UNESCO’s mission: Enshrining peace in the hearts and minds of people.
people between the ages of 15 and 24 years old; however it recognises that certain member states have different definitions. In order to give youths a stronger voice in the Austrian UNESCO Commission, a dedicated Youth Panel was set up in 2006.
