Annual Conference

Annual Conference 2020 virtual

Once a year, a 3-day conference takes place for the advisors of the Austrian UNESCO schools, which lays the foundation for the work in the respective school year. The annual conferences always focus on a specific topic, which the participants deal with in workshops. They receive suggestions and information that they can implement in everyday school life. Topics of the past years were: "Immaterielles Kulturerbe entdecken", "Wegweiser Bildung und Nachhaltige Entwicklung", "60 Jahre UNESCO-Schulen", "Global Citizenship Education", "Sustainable Development Goals", "Futures of Education".

A lively exchange of ideas takes place at the "Markt der Möglichkeiten". The advisors from the UNESCO schools have the opportunity to present their current school projects and to discuss their experiences together.
