FORUM, which has been published annually since 2008, documents the ways in which the Austrian UNESCO educational institutions implement the guiding ideas of UNESCO and the respective annual topics in a creative and committed manner. The articles show the diversity of topics that students have dealt with in practical classroom exercises over the past school year.
The Austrian UNESCO schools carry out a wide variety of projects, sometimes in cooperation with national and international partners. As a result of having a common annual topic, it is possible to observe an abundance of creativity and innovation as well as a wide variety of pedagogical concepts and approaches, which in turn lead to lively exchange and intensive networking among the institutions.
The current issue of FORUM (issue 35/2023) is dedicated to the topic "70 Jahre UNESCO-Schulen".
