Successful projects in Austria’s World Heritage sites in 2019

At the initiative of the Austrian Commission for UNESCO, in collaboration with the Federal Chancellery, successful projects and measures in the Austrian World Heritage sites are presented as examples of good practice each year in celebration of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 (EYCH). The intention of this endeavour is to create a pool of innovative projects – an inspiration for all World Heritage sites!

The old town of Graz has been a World Heritage site for 20 years. To celebrate this anniversary, a specially designed tram is drawing public attention to the topics of “World Heritage” and “UNESCO”.
